I agree with you, however ignorant seems to have a very negative connotation, uninformed might have been a better word choice. But quabbling over word choice is silly so I am dropping it.

However I think the source of the ignorance rests largely on the Field Logic company. Their marketing has attempted to make every hunter think that the Rage would be the perfect broadhead with their setup, by claiming that their heads out penetrate a fixed blade COC head. Thats crazy! True with enough KE and proper tuning you can get pass throughs on deer sized game with a large expandable. But to say that they out penetrate a fixed blade is absurd. If they are calling their new head the 40ke than they should call their other heads the 60ke. But that would limit their consumer base to hunters with faster set-ups and limit profit. Basically I feel they are risking a large increase in the number of wounded deer out their in order to maximize profit. If you have the right set up its probably a great head, but at least tell people that.
