i'd like to know just whats wrong with me buying a truck from GM when actually i own part of the company,and so do you. oh,2 weeks ago i did just that . i bought a new gmc fullsize truck.
YOU don't own crap, and neither does anyone else. The government and "we the people" are no longer one and the same. Let me know when you get your dividend check from the treasury. Let me know when my taxes will go down as GM profits (maybe) go up. I won't hold my breath. Oh, and before the goobermint seized control of GM through the guise of a "rescue," you very much could own part of GM. It's called stock, and it could actually earn you money by owning it. Again, the goob isn't going to give you crap in return for "investing" your tax money in GM. It'll just make the beast bigger and stronger.
