Please loose the mechanical heads. The other stuff is probably fine as long as he isn' t trying to use ultra light arrows. Like IBO minimum. If he is using really light arrows then I would also advise that he go to a heavier arrow of at least 420 grains, 6 grains per pound.

If he simply must use a mechanical then use a small cutting radius, like a steel head, and definetly not the two inch one that he is using now.
