the only thing id change on his setup is his broadhead choice. hed be better off choosing a good fixed blade or cut on contact head. on a quartering shot on an elk those mechanicals may be a liability. elk have heavy bones and on an angle shot i wouldnt trust a mechanical. thats not to say they cant get the job done its just that there are better tools for the job out there.
