RE: Reloaded .45-70 Ammo...Need help With Ballistics
I' ve reloaded the 45-70 for a few years both for BP competition (Sharps) and for hunting with a Marlin 1895G.
It appears from your description that you have a mixxed load, and the Bullseye scares the crap out of me. I also don' t recognize 4831 as a normal 45-70 powder either. I WOULDN' T SHOOT THEM. Pull the bullets, scrap the powder, use the brass.
Also remember the only truely safe reloads are the ones you do yourself unless you have absolute trust in someone else as you' ll be placing your life in their hands when you shoot their loads
