One thing I wouldn' t do is shoot someone else' s reloads . There are a lot of people that like to shoot hot rounds and in the wrong gun that could be a major problem. If your friend loaded it just for your gun that would be different but if it was just something someone had leftover you would be better off pulling the bullets and starting over . I have a trapdoor , a Buffalo Classic ,and a Ruger # 1 all in 45-70 and they all shoot a different load . The #1 max PSI is almost double the trapdoor max ,yet just looking at the shell they are identical .
