The sanctuary aspect is some thing I can appreciate the total ban on all hunting is a personal thing between the land owners them selves and in America private property rights are the basis of our country.
When I bought my land it was over a seven year period and I bought in many small parcels. The neighbors were pissed because I posted it and ended the doe slaughter. It took years to convince them the value of sanctuaries and undisturbed bedding areas.
Now we all have better hunting they kill a few doe, they shoot some small bucks, that makes them happy and they respect my wishes on driving the woods and senselessly killing does that aren't needed by their families. Hunting is great fun and we are all quite successful at it.
