"If I've said it once I posted it a dozen times that I feel you as hunters have the ability to control the quality of your hunting, some of you don't want to hear that and blame bureaucrats for destroying Pa's deer herds. I refuse to let some pencil head in Harrisburg take from me something I love."

Then perhaps you should stop saying it because it isnt true. There are 900,000 hunters in the state and each simply cant buy land. there isnt enough to go around. Take out the citys towns roads, stateforests gamelands etc. that arent for sale...all the private land not for sale, then whats left? Enough for each man to own a 1/4 acre parcel? lol. That makes a much sense as telling all the unsuccessful hunters to hunt longer harder, and become more skilled.... When it doesnt matter there are only "x" number of deer that can be harvested and keep the herd stable without reducing further...

If anyone in particular can and wants as good hunting as they can possibly have, Id advise buying land and managing it well. I dont think anyone expecting decent hunting should have to however. There is no excuse for pizz poor deer management that puts hunter satisfaction at such a low priority (no priority).
