I generally get arrows fletched with helical feathers and offset vanes to group right along with each other out to 50 yards. After that, the vanes drop off a little quicker than feathers do. I' ll have two groups at 60 yards, with the center of the feather fletched arrow group noticeably higher than the vane fletched arrows.

I could easily be an exception though. My arrows are 32 1/2 - 33" long and heavy. Even my carbon arrows with feathers weigh around 450 grains. My aluminum arrows are nearly 600 grains.

But broadheads always shoot best for me with feathers.
