Hey WesternMd....Sorry I missed this earlier but can you adjust your cable guard? If so, just crank it out a bit and problem solved. If not, I see you have what is called an "inboard" cable holder. You can get an "outboard" type such as a roller style or just a simple plastic slide that rides on the outside of the cable guard. It is a very simple fix either way. It may require a trip to a shop for a new slide, but they are very cheap. I used to keep some on hand but they are all gone. I looked....was gonna mail you one. Sorry Buddy.
