It's a nice rifle.

You know, you could have a grind-to-fit Limbsaver or Pachmahr recoil pad installed which will soften the recoil substantially over the hard rubber butt plate that's currently installed. Remington may also offer their new Supercell pad in a pre-fit form that you just screw on. I have the Supercell pad on my M700 LSS in .257 Wby Mag, and it feels like a stiff .243 or .25-06. I also put Limbsaver pads on my rifles and they work very well.

Then there's always the reduced recoil ammo.

If you want to sell the gun, that's your option, of course. But I just thought I'd suggest an alternative that could be less costly in the end.
