Some of the big names get special consideration from outfitters and guides. They keep their best areas set aside for writers/tv that they know will get publicity and help drive additional clients to them or allow them to charge higher fees. There are times too when they find a really large or record book animal that they will keep track of that animal and not put another hunter on it, saving it for the big name or big money client. Makes good business sense for the outfitter, but not exactly an honest reresentation of their services or the hunting skills of the big name client that bags the trophy. I guess it is just the world we live in, money drives everything.
