Here's a clue,for you. Twenty years of managing the herd based on population estimates and DD goals, produced a healthy herd with record buck and antlerless harvests. In addition, it produced a harvest of 52+K , 2.5 pt. buck without ARs.
What has the current system produced in comparison?
BTW, I am still waiting for you to explain how the PGC determines the number of tags to allocate , if they don't know how many deer we have and they don't have any density goals.
