I didn't get the point about the PGC making more money, either?
Since the checks are made out to "county treasurer", it would appear that they get the money first, keep their dollar, then have to remit the balance to the PGC within a certain time frame?
The new system should benefit hunters, since checks don't have to be returned so that someone can submit another application to a WMU that still has tags left.
Be interesting to see if all goes as planned, since there have already been some glitches in the license issuing system.
Maybe one guy in Tremont will get
all the 2G tags and they'll all arrive on the same day. Pity his poor mail carrier.
