I had the kind of luck with 777 as you did with BH, I am sure there are some other things than the powder that causes these kind of problems, I worked a bit with 777 trying to find out what it was that caused it and came to the conclusion that it was a chemical reaction to something I was using. Since they came out with BH and it solved all those problems for me I never followed through on it.
have you tried the new Black Mag XP? I want to get some but have not been able to yet. If what I have heard and the advertising is correct it should work well even in the flint locks. Black Powder is very difficult for me to obtain here. Lee
As with most anything in the shooting sports, I am a sucker for something new. Have not seen the new powder in my local area just yet, but you know I will give it a try.
But isn't that part of the fun trying new stuff???
