I won't try to complicate you with too much detail.
I'd be glad to give you some advice.
Not sure of your budget...if you're looking to go with low cost..
Get yourself a new mini DV cam at Walmart $250 bucks.....and carry the camera with you on all your hunts....video everything...you can get a 40 dollar gorilla arm camera arm to hold your camera in the tree...
Here is how I started 6 years ago in video editting and I made some sweet videos on DVD of my kills with music.
1) A Cheap Mini DV Cam - $250
2) Camera Arm - $40
3) Cheap Tripod for on the ground shots $30
4) Pinnacle Studio 12 video editting program (Basic) - $45
It took me 3 years to realize this....Camera shake will kill your memories on video...Don't settle for anything less than perfect...keep camera shake to a minimum.
