Default RE: Accuracy? how much, to what level?

Ok now i haven't shot rifle outside hunting situations in a long time.I do know that i expect my rifles to shoot way better than i can. That said i would expect any center fire rifle to shoot under 2 inches and would probably not be happy if it doesn't shoot closer to an inch/hundred . The whole point for me to shoot an inline over a flint lock/ percussian cap is accuracy. I would demand my inline to shoot under 2 inches at a hundred .My remington ml in 54 is the best muzzloader i have shot to date and shoots under 1.5 at a hundred and has won me dozens of turkeys at the fall turkey shoot and some money from a couple of gun know it all's at the range.Got to love outshooting a guy with a ml and he is shooting a centerfire.
