Make sure you walk slow, you can easily walk right past one if you are walking too fast. Check near a known feeder if you have permission. (homeade feeder, bait pile) I found three there this spring. Check road ditches where deer cross. Found one there a couple years ago. If you had a corn field standing over winter that's usually a good spot to look. If you turkey hunt that is also a great time to look. Remember you're not in a race, you'll find way more if you go slow.
