Hoghead
You are almost there bud, that gun will do better.
1. It might be your bench rest set-up, or your hold on the rifle.
2. Are you sure it is a 1:30 twist, and not the older 1:20 twist??
3. Is there a crud-ring forming, keeping you from seating the bullets the same every time?
4. Maybe the points are being deformed with the seating process with your ram-rod.
5. The two
best sabots we have all come to like, are the MMP-Cream/Tan colored(These come with the SST's), and the Harvester Smooth Blue 45/40cal.
6. Almost forgot, this is the
HOT season, your barrel will heat up
FAST, and this destroys accuracy BIG TIME[:@]. Try shooting later in the evening, when you are in the shade, and it's cooler. Remember to wait at least 5-10 minutes between shots if ya can. I bring my .22 to plink with while I'm waiting
These bullets stabilize easily in the Disc Elites from 80-120g of powder, and will take game very well at just 90g of powder= about 1950-2000fps.
