Had to run an errand, just happened to be near a hardware store to pick up some super glue and epoxy

I picked up an 8-32 tap for $3. Just tried to run it through each insert, and lo and behold, it hangs up in each and every one. I' ve only got my hands, so I haven' t re-tapped the threads, which I hope is entirely possible as I am far far away from new inserts, distance wise.

Should I be able to re-tap these things, or should I start the process to get new. If I go new, what' s the guarantee they won' t have the same fricking problem?

For what it' s worth, I' ve only used the rocket heads in one of these inserts, so I can' t blame them... I just think they were bad to begin with.
