I wouldn't I would plant soybeans or some of the warm season plots mentioned above.I am going to plant my wheat and soybean mix around sept. 1st so the wheat will come up good and the beans will just leaf out.I will plant milo in a week or so and that will last through winter
Not to hijack the thread, but I can’t quite grasp the idea of planting beans in September. Why not plant now so you have the benefit of a summer and winter food source?
