None of those thinner sabots were ever tried in mine. It will shoot a an 1 or close to it depending on the shooter with MMP 12 and 250 gr XTP or SW and with a 44cal 240 gr XTP and a green 44/50 sabot.
I always take the breach plug out and try sabot bullet combinations if they are not tight enough to make this 6foot one inch 200 pound er use both hands and put some weight on it then there's no point in wasting the powder cause they wont shoot good any way. If the sabot is not tight enough that the rifling's cut into it a bit then it wont hold onto the bullet when it spins. Lee
