Over the years I look for my blinds to be 68x68 then I don't have a problem with coming to full draw. The velcro comes off because some times I shoot mechcanicals. I leave mine out year round so the animals get used to them. If you can ,brush it in . I use the big doghouse by ameristep. The other important thing to do is to practice shooting out of them to make sure nothing is hanging up in the window. Good luck deerman69
