Depends on where you're sitting, if close to the facing wall then yes.

Are those see through window mesh's permanent? Can they be rolled open?

Most are attached with velcro, so yes.

Some use will involve camera work?

Most blinds can accomodate cameras.

I assume it's better to place the blind in some good cover, and not just place it out in the naked open spaces? What's your experience.

Locating the blind in cover is always a good idea.

Expect to use it in hunting season; off season photography; seems real practical during wet and cold weather. My bones aren't getting any younger.

You'll thank yourself the first time it rains.
