Default RE: Interesting Question

I keep mine out for the majority of the year, but it does come in for a month or two.
Its not too early for minerals though.A goodtime tomake new mineral sites or refresh old mineralones,is late winter.

The 1st picture belowis from March this year. It is anew mineral site (around 2 weeks old at the time of the picture)with a time release mineral block and a little buck jam on the stump. I'll put more buckjam on when the weather heats up so the sun can bake it onto the stump. I checked the site a few days ago and the mineral block is starting to soak into the ground nicely.Bucks/deer in generalwill hit it harderas springcontinues intosummer, especially does that are nursing fawns... but its definitely not too early. They started hitting this one regularly in late march/early april.

As others have said, welcome to the addiction. Have fun, post some pics when you get some.
