I too plan on puttting my cameras out this weekend. It's really never too early to try to get great photos. I use a product called lucky buck. It comes in a white bucket and looks like a fine red sand. I'm not sure about what all is in it, I know it has minerals, but the deer absolutely hammer it. They will dig a hole months after the product is gone to still try to eat it. I have used many other products for my cameras but this is by far the best thing I have seen. If you don't see it for sale where you live, just google the name and their website is there.
