Does anyone know if it is ok to dry-fire the Vision. I understand it cocks on opening. Without an external hammer, there seems to be no way to relieve hammer spring (if that is the correct term)pressure if the gun is just being put away.

Also - and here I am going to really display my ignorance, what is the best way to keep that camo barrel finish in good shape? Is it just a paint or some other kind of finish?
