Food plots in this part of the state are OK for several months of the year but they do nothing for the deer during periods of deep snow,like this past year.Deer need browse,it's as simple as that.In fact,each deer needs several pounds a day to make it through winter.I'll send someone an sd card next week so you can see what carrying too many deer for the habitat will do.
The browse that the deer don't eat during summer and fall because of the food plots, will be there for the deer during the winter.
