If & when I get me a .500, it will be more for novelty than actual hunting situations. I agree that a .44 mag is all thats needed. I do roll my own as a matter of fact but I need a few things. I have the die and enough brass to get me started. Now Ijust need powder, primers and bullets. The shelves are bare in all surrounding stores. The gun show in Reno NV was a joke. Over priced EVERYTHING! You would think that they would wheel & deal but nope. Rigid and firm.......thats why I left the show and went to Cabelas Gun Library for my Sig. No powder or bullets at the gun show but I did get 2000 lg rifle primers but no large pistol primers.
