Default .45 VS 10mm

I needed a bigger sidearm for pig hunting and wanted a semi auto. I bought a pre-owned Sig P220 .45. I also could have went with a Glock 10mm for $50 less. I chose the .45. Now I am second guessing my decision based on the bullistic performance. I chose the .45 because of ammo & reloading and the history behind the round. It seems like the good ole .45 always does the job. What do yall think?
