I agree with cayugad a 22 rimfire does not make much of a long range weapon. I have shot truckloads of coyotes they are very common here in Arkansas, the season is long, and its bunches of fun to call them in. Mainly when I hunt them I use my 22-250 or 25-06, but I have shot them with lots of different rifles up to a 300 winmag. I doubt that you have just one yote, I'd bet money there are many more around your hunting area. Once they move in there there to stay its impossible to kill them all out. When this world comes to an end there will be two things left yotes and possums lol.
