I got two of them where I hunt turkeys. Unfortunately in Missouri when turkey season is on we cannot shoot them as they are protected during that time. April 20 is the big show date and it cannot come any sooner.I see them all the time during deer season, but with one shot muzzy I can just see the deer laughing as they would walk by after the shot.

They are white and would look great mounted I'm sure. A 45 or 50 cal muzzy will do the work.I would be comfortable using a deer load on one of them. Depends on whether or not you want to keep the pelt. If you do,you want a smaller weight bullet, maybe a 200 gr would shoot well with minimal pelt damage. If you do not want the pelt I would use the biggest weight in your deer load and that will do it. If baiting is legal you can get them in close for a roundball shot. If rabbit season is on get a rabbit carcass, after you have taken what you need for a good ol stew of course, for bait. I have had them within 30 yards of my turkey decoys but againI cannot shoot them during turkey season and on top of that the shot would not have an effect anyway on them.
