Any one that has been in the gun business will tell that plating can be the beginning of a lot of problems, I have seen a brand new Triumph in the local sports store with corrosion coming up through the plating. I was actually there to buy a back up Triumph for some hunting trips, I ended up using my Omega for back up .
I reguard this Weathersheild as the one bigmistake other than messing up the customer service that has been made at TC of course its really S&W now. Lee
