I have the same exact gun as Sheridan. It shoots great. I also have a CZ 527 American in .223. Like I've stated in other posts;I can't make myself shoot the Savage when my CZ is around. Check out the CZ. I know it doesn't have ss or a synthetic stock , but I think it shoots better than the Savage. That is not to say the Savage isn't a good gun in it's own right. It is. I justcan't get away from the CZ. Check them out . It is worth the extra money.
