No thats not an option at this point in life. However the charter boat cpt position is something I am definatly pushing hard for.

I picked up my asst guides lisc also and was out this spring. After this month I should be out till the end of october...still working on the october gig. My plan is to run a boat during summer, hopefully in sitka, then head back up here for a few days....then off guiding....now what to do during winter...hmmm

I might end up in Oregon next fall or definatly the fall after. I have to see how things end up as far as scheduling before I make that decision. The only thing I want is mule deer. elk was fun but its obviously not in my blood at this time. A nice mule deer definatly is however. I also have offers in washington for elk and mulies, idaho, and again in oregon with another fella. not to mention some cat hunting in Mt I believe. They asked me to go this fall, sure would be nice but man I dont have that kind of time lol. I am thinking though of heading back to sitka and chasing goats, that or going out with Steve for goats out of juneau. Both of them are successful goat hunters and Brian has a sweet little spot, not to mention a boat, shrimp/crab pots, and we are not relying on ferrys/bush flights to do what we wish. He will be chasing deer while I am out for goats....we' ll see. Its something I have long awaited!

btw, I have my 02 ram back and on the wall.....man Rich does awesome work!!! Had to move the 99 ram into the computer room. I think I have enuf room for a goat, after that I might have to rent some walls space from ya []
