Thanks for the replies, I've been wanting something to use my 22-250 on, since going out to kansas praire dogging is far and few between. It has the bull barrel and a 32x power scope, so lugging it will be a challenge, but it's sooooooo fun to shoot. I just didn't know if it had enough for the hogs or not. I'm a meat hunter, and I do all my own processing, from steaks, to sausages, to smoking snack sticks and jerky. I may just end up taking it, and shoot them behind the ear, with that scope it should be relatively easy, and would save the shoulder meat in the process. Thanks again. Scott.
