Both of my senators and my representative have a very good record of protecting my rights but I still took the time to write to them. In my communication with all three of them they have indicated that they don't believe HR-45 will ever make it out of committee but they also expressed the importance of constituent input. They all say they have had more comments on the second amendment rights since Obama was elected than they have any other time since they have been in office. They appreciate the concern they are witnessing.
