I have noticed a lot of posts about spreading lime and how much trouble it is on a small plot. A friend had thi spreader and I was going to take some pics to build me one. After I had gotten them he told me to just take it. It is made out of an old truck rear axle wih a spreader plate welded to the pinion shaft it has a tounge for pulling and a barrel to hold seed or lime. It has an agitator inside the barrel to keep the lime from packing. The plate is adjustable up and down. I will have to put some new tires on it and oil and paint but it stiill works
