4x4, I talked to a maker of antler chandeliers, and he cut a slot into the top of the antlers and put the wire into the slot and then filled the slot with the same material that is used to make the replica antlers that we are used to seeing of record book animals. They can make a set of fake antlers look very real, he just has a small slot to fill, and it is very difficult to see where the slot is once the project is finished.
