Question for Hoyt owners
I' m asking this for my brother, and future self. My brother has a 2000 or 2001 Hoyt Magnatec. I picked up the same bow used a few wks back as a backup, but haven' t done anything with it. My brother is trying to find a drop away rest for his Hoyt. His proshop tried to install the Copper John Bobcat, but discovered they couldn' t get the vanes to clear, because of the built in overdraw. The proshop tried to time the rest, but they claim its a common problem with the Hoyts, so another single prong has to be installed to prevent your arrow from hitting the rest or shelf? Is this true??
