I really like Pointing Dog Journal. It is
totally about upland gamebird hunting, and the fine guns and dogs that are associated with it.
Gundog magazine is pretty good, too, but they have quite a few pages devoted to retrievers and waterfowl hunting.
You might also want to check out Shooting Sportsman. High-end, for sure, but beautifully crafted and written.
