If money isn' t a concern the sleepy creek 1 1/2 offset is the best coon trap made,IMO. They will cost about $95 a dozen. If you don' t want to spend that much the Duke 1 3/4 offset is an excellent trap for about $75 a dozen. For coons I like traps with offset jaws, coons can be bad about chewing and if you break a leg on one they will twist the leg off or chew it off. This is a lot less likely to happen if the traps have off set jaws.
