Not truly knowing how to clean arrows and fletching is the biggest reason so many have problems.Many swear by acetone but it leaves a residue that must be cleaned off before fletching.


I am a flex fletch guy myself,or atleast I have been in the past and those things take some tedious cleaning to get them to adhere properly.Many have learned how to fletch with some of the vanes that have an accelerator on them and have really never learned how to properly prep an arrow or fletch.



You MUST clean residue offthe base of the vane and the arrow.All it really takes is water.


I also use platinum fletchtite glue.

Not sure what Muzzy's problem was but I have seen this as an issue for many.
