they had truck sale here in my area.

they had 4,000 watt generators for 199 dollars.

i put gas stove in my kitchen,if things get bad, i can heat 3 rooms with gas and still cook.

rest of house is baseboard electric.i bought one of those HEAT SURGE fireplaces that you can move from room to room for heat.its on tv with amish selling them for 298 dollars.

it runs on 110 and will heat 2 rooms easy

i always keep 5 gallons of gas in my shed in case i have to use generator.
