Default RE: Scope mount for accura

I have 2 ACCURA's and I used the CVA Durasight Z2 Alloy See-Thru Mounts on them, they work fine with my Leupold Ultimate Slam ML Scope and a Bushnell Dusk to Dawn Scope. Im not rtying to talk you out of the Nikon, there great scopes, but as I mentioned in a forum a few day's ago the Nikon with the BDC is set up for a 250Gr. Bullet and a 150Gr. Powder Charge. If you dont use this load the BDC wont work. The Leupold I have with the (SABR) reticle has 3 different settings on the scope, 1 for a 2-pellet setting, 1 for a 3-pellet setting and 1 for a Shotgun Setting, and it also compensates with these settings for use with a lesser powder charge or even a 20Ga, Shotgun, it's more vesitile. The Nikon is'nt. You were talikng about the Nikon Omega with the BDC reticle right? I have 2 Nikon Scopes, Pro-Staff, and love em, but the BDC only has one load you can use or you have to (GUESS) where you have to hold between the lower long range reticle lines, and if you have to guess than why have it, unless of course you use the 259gr and 150gr charge. My 2 Cents. Best of luck.........Cabela's has the Durasight Scope Mounts, you'll need the one's for (Optima/Kodiak/Wolf) for the ACCURA. And I had these rings on a Kodiak that I have too, worked fine.
