cayugad...you are right I was offered a new optima elite in a 45-70 or a new accura,my choice just to send my gun back and not ask any questions about what happened or why it happened.Instead I give up the majority of my season to let my ears heal and to get my story out before they do decide to deal with my hearing and tell me to hush.but I believe you are right it don't happen all the time and all guns don't blow up but if the ones that do are not told about and just paid-off no-one will ever know and that is what any gun company wants is no-one to know they had even one of their guns to blow.I like you have shot CVA guns since I could hold one up all the way back to the #11 sidelocks and like you and most anybody else have not had problems until now.I have not talked to the direct person but have heard of one other optima that blew,thinking this one was from michigan but not for sure.whoevermy letting people know what happened offends all I can say is I'M SORRY for anyone else I hope thisis helpful the topic wasCVA DANGEROUS? tommy
