Default RE: Covert II Trail Cam

ORIGINAL: Bee Busy Outdoors

Here is another similar one......... It seems to be the sensing range being wider than the field of view...........

I didn't see anything either but I typed in Covert in the search and read some of the posts. Seemed to be all positive.

FYI 497 pics last night. Still not one bad pic yet with this cam. I put a fresh set of bats in last night so we'll give it the true test. Also just to let you know I pull this cam every morning so almost all the pics I get are night pics. Maybe one or two just before dark but not many.
Also a note. I have noticed at times this camera tripping before anything is in the field of view. The sensing range is wider than the field of view.
Sometimes resulting in pictures with nothing on but by doing this you have a much better chance of not missing your target as it's passing through.

FYI, I happened to complete that battery test. 5221 pics in 12 nights with 5 nights logged in double digits below zero. Regular Energizers.
I also look at the sensing zone as a plus not a problem. I hope they leave it right the way it is.
