Amen to the old way. I talked to a friend today who shoots in the HC, he told me that a shooter at Gem City in the HC shot all 10' s, but had a low x(11) count. He shot like 5 or 6 up, and was beat by several other shooters who shot a few 8' s and 5' s but had a high x-counts. Now to me the guy who shoots NO 8' s or 5' s, is by far the BETTER shooter. PLEASE IBO, go back to " THE OLD WAY" . I am impressed Bartman how you broke down the scores in the MBO to show what the top guys would have shot without the 11-ring. I myself would have shot a 373 with 13-x' s, which is about par for me and I,m happy with that. The major concern as I see it, at Nelsonville there were 12 shooters in the MBO who shot above 400, which screws up the score standings for the top 30 shooters. Last year I qualified for the World at all three legs with a 5-6 point cushion in making the top 20. This year due to the 11-ring I missed the top 20 by 5-6 points because it spreads out the scores more. Bah-humbug on the 11-ring. Shoot the (other) organization if you want to shot up.
