When you shoot 60# bows at 28" draw you don't have to worry about unshootable speeds[8D]
I still get a laugh at people that think their way is the only way.
Heavy arrows vs. Light arrows
Fast bows vs. Slower bows
On & On & On
In the last twelve months I havekilled gamewith arrows weighing less than 330 grains, but I have alsokilled gamewith arrows weighing over 500 grains.
I've killed game with a bow shooting 306fps and I've killed game with a bow shooting only 232fps.
Is one superior to the other in all hunting situations? Not in my eyes. Each animal, each area can take a slightly different setup to be optimum.
Don't tell a guy stalking Antelope in New Mexico that he is shooting too fast of a bow or too light of an arrow if you have never been there, done that.
Bottom line is there are more than one way to Git-R-Done than Your way (whoever You are). If it's not broke don't fix it!

, but don't hesitate to try something new. You might just like it.
I shoot feathers and Love them. IMHO they are the best choice for me, but Blazers, QS SpeedHunters, and other vanes work very well and may well be the best choice for You. I test lots of equipment in the offseason to find what's best for Me. I may suggest that someone try feathers, but I won't ever say that Blazers, QS Speedhunters won't Git-R-Done!![8D]
