I have 2 Lyman 54 cal. rifles. one in the 1:60 twist and also the GPH with the 1:32 twist. With the Lyman GPR 1:60 . I get the best accuracy with a 530 hornady ball and .018 patch and 90 gr triple 777. With the GPH i get the best accuracy with a 425 gr, Hornady HBHP great plains conical ,100 gr. 777 . I feel the Lyman Great Plains rifle is the best percussuin cap out there for the price. Parts are easy to find but I have never needed any in the 25+ years since I got my first Lyman
